I realise in its current state its not up to much at the moment. But its about to under go some major changes in the up coming years, like the proposed MTR line, three new hotels and a ton of new shows and attractions. Also this Summer the park will be promoting the DreamWorks Animation movie Kung Fu Panda, with a special attraction. With the park seeing some record attendance recently, the future looks bright for this park! |

Many even calling it a beautiful park. I think that if you have tha ability to enjoy non-Disney parks like Knott's and Magic Mountain, then you should have a good time at ocean park. I have never been, but some of the pictures look interesting. But I can have fun at a traveling carnival that is set up in the mall parking lot. |

My overall opinion for someone who hasn't been so far is that its certainly not Disney. But it still looks like it offers a few unique features that make a trip like this worth while. The Animal exhibitions look very interesting, and the parks surrounding views also look like a must see here. Kind of a bit concerned about the food served here as its mainly Chinese food like fried squid, althrough it does offer a table service restaurant and Mcdonalds. |

When in Rome, right? ;) |

| davewasbaloo Sat 5/3/2008 5:30a | Agreed James, you are going to China, so what do you expect to eat? |

| Malin Sat 5/3/2008 11:52p | Oh my god I came across bad in post 7. Reason why I want to stick to Western food in that park is because I've heard from the reviews to avoid it. Plus I want to give one of the table service Restaurants a go here. I of course will be giving some of the local cuisine a try, but don't want Chinese food the whole week either.
And I will certainly not be trying fried Squid or Squid on a Stick a go. I simply do not like Squid which I have have eaten before. |
