I thought Ocean Park did a good job on the Panda exhibit. The Cable Car is not my thing but I know a lot of people who love the views it offers. It had some nice animal exhibits on Sealions, sharks and other marine life. I would consider these all plus. We should also point out that Ocean Park is a non profit organisation, which is probarely why it fails in comparison to that of Disney, Bush or Universal. I would also like to point out Ocean Park is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) a organisation that accredits only those institutions that have achieved rigorous standards for animal care, education, wildlife conservation and science. Ocean Park must be doing something right anyway because its one of the top visited theme parks in the World and is being used by DreamWorks to promote this Summers Kung Fu Panda movie.

I personally didn't touch any of the food at the park except for a steak sandwich which I had at the Terrace Cafe. The Steak sandwich was good but I never tried any of the other food, as I have no interest in fried squid or McDonalds.

End of the day Ocean Park has a very good attendance, so why would it need to fix any of the current attractions. The fanbase is already here and it can only grow with the new additions of Killer Whale shows.

End of the day your entitled to your opinion and I want to thank you for sharing it. I am certainly not saying Ocean Park is perfect and after a few hours I was already wanting to leave, so I didn't enjoy it that much, but I still wouldn't refer to it as a complete pile of camel dung either.

Barboy, whats your opinion of parks like Cedar Point?

I haven't been to Cedar Point but I have seen many pictures and I know the basic attraction lineup.

I can safely assume it is very much similar to Magic Mountain----a themeless twisted metal and asphalt park which caters to teens who appreciate speed and thrill over details and magic. Cedar, to my disappointment, is always looking to add the next hyper or giga coaster to one up anyone else in the industry. I don't care about 400' tall coasters nor their 0-100 mph takeoffs, much. I am more impressed with the themes of Dl Anaheim's Space Mountain and its 28-34 mph speed.

Funny you should ask me about Cedar Point too because just about 1 week ago when I was in Wash. DC my brother asked if I wanted to do a road trip out there and I flat out said no way, no how, will not happen. I have some standing rules in my themepark travels: no Paramount, no Six Flags and no parks like them. Cedar follows in that same tradition.

Now IOA.... that is one awesome park. Thrills with theme is a recipe for greatness.
