| dshyates Fri 5/2/2008 4:31a | The liberal mainstream media is just trying to make this grat American patriot look bad. He has been one of the BEST presidents since Bill Clinton. |

| WilliamK99 Fri 5/2/2008 4:50a | President Bush has been the best President of the 21st Century....Hands down.... |

| davewasbaloo Fri 5/2/2008 4:51a | Yep Dshyates and WilliamK99, I hope that all changes very soon!
But none of this is news! |

| wahooskipper Fri 5/2/2008 5:10a | No doubt he has dug himself into a hole he can't get out of.
But, consider who is doing the "ranking". Americans today are about as dumbed down as our society has ever been. Jon Stewart draws more people to his "news" than most network newscasts.
Of course, when our society has had "greats" such as Bill Clinton and George Bush for us to admire and aspire to be then it is no surprise that we are where we are. |

| dshyates Fri 5/2/2008 5:30a | I was making an absurd joke. W. has been the worst prez. in the history of this country. He has blatant disregard for the constitution and the other laws of the land. He has taken us to war for the profits to private corporations. Killing hundreds of thousands of civilians for Haliburton's profit. This man is a monster who has irreparably damaged this country on the world stage. And War Crimes comes to mind on just about every level of the execution of this war. From the selling (lying) to the no-bid contractors (Haliburton and its subsidiaries). Anyone remember Osama Been Forgotten? |

| wahooskipper Fri 5/2/2008 5:39a | If I hear one more person point to Bin Laden as a failure of Bush I'm going to scream. There are plenty of troops on the hunt for Bin Laden (including a couple of my neighbors).
I'll tell you what, I'm going to hide a pine needle in Sequoia National Forest. Come back when you find it.
Bush has handled this war poorly and there is no arguing that point. But, in terms of "ignoring the constitution, war crimes, etc"...prove it. If that were so simple he'd have been impeached by now.
He deserves the lack of support and confidence that he is getting. I don't know too many Republicans that would deny that.
It still fascinates me that people so easily forget that nearly ALL of the elected officials on both sides of the aisle gave Bush the authority to go to war. Bill and Hillary were both vocally in favor of it even through the first year or so of the effort.
Honestly, Obama and a handful of others are the only ones who should have a clear conscience. |

And yet they are still able to recognize that bush sucks.
Wow.
That's even MORE of an indictment, if you ask me.
****I was making an absurd joke.****
We all got it, DSH. ;) |

| wahooskipper Fri 5/2/2008 7:26a | Yes, it is more of an indictment. We can complain until our ears bleed about what our government is NOT doing for us and why we should get more (without working for it). We complain that our jobs are being lost while companies move overseas (in many cases to areas of the world with more educated people) and we complain that our taxes are too high (while our education and social services are slased).
Yep, we's brite as nite! |

You're contradicting yourself. One of the many reasons he gets no support is because he has given the finger to the Constitution. As for the war crimes, the jury's out there figuratively, and maybe literally later on. I find it unfathomable that you'd actually say "prove it" when it comes to violations of the Consitution. You're smarter than that. Remember the Patriot Act, for starters? Wiretaps? Pressuring Ashcroft on his hospital bed? Gitmo? Etc etc etc |
