It is important to at least note the huge sacrifices that the president is making in honor of the soldiers lost in Iraq...

Like, he quit playing golf forever?

Or just for the remainder of the war?

Or til he's not president anymore?

Good to know he cares, anyway. *sniff*

I quit playing golf because I'm terrible at it.

Bush has done some good though. The bumper sticker industry has thrived since he was elected.

I want to add a very serious note to this discussion.
I have been opposed to this war from the beginning, so don't know exactly why we are there, other than some high-up muckity-mucks thought Hussein was helping Bin Laden with the terrorist attack.
So around 3000 innocent American people died in those terrorist attacks. But since the war has begun, over 4000 soldiers have died in Iraq.
Even more disturbing are the statistics on civilian casualties in Iraq which range from over 100,000 to over 1,000,000 due to the war. Yes, some have come at the hand of their own people, but many have been due to the US and British troops.

What would we call this if troops from another country declared war on us and killed that many of our people? Not only does Bush suck, and not only is he the worst president in history, but he is also responsible for the murders of tens of thousands of innocent people.

***other than some high-up muckity-mucks thought Hussein was helping Bin Laden with the terrorist attack***

Nobody higher up thought that, they just wanted the public to think it (and it worked).

BTW, Bush giving up golf because of the soldiers lost in Iraq is a huge joke. Has he given up going to parties, out to dinner, watching TV, seeing movies, spending time with his family, going on trips, living??? Give me a break.

He should give up living free and feeling safe in his homeland because another country has decided to terrorize it for God only knows how long, then I may consider it sacrifice.

Right, Bush had this war planned since before he was elected, but for what reason? Dude's out of his mind.

Oil.

And he's not out of his mind, he was simply following his masters' orders.

Okay, I'm curious. Who's his master??
