Is this a good place for dinner? I called to make reservations and was told they don't take reservations. Is the wait long?

It's not bad. Their outdoor seating along the Boardwalk can be very enjoyable on a pleasant evening. Sitting inside is OK too, but a little crowded for my taste. I've been very happy with their burgers... less so with their other menu items.

Wait of course depends on time of year and time of day, but I doubt you would ever have to wait more than 20 minutes.

Personally, I prefer the ESPN club on the other end of the Boardwalk. They have a far larger menu and in my opinion the food is better.

But the Big River Grill certainly isn't bad, so if it appeals to you give it a try.
