That is totally false and I'm leaving this debate. The only thing that nobody can argue is that there has been a serious dilution of what Disney is now and what it used to be. |

| Spirit of 74 Tue 5/6/2008 10:51p | Oh man, I would sooooo love to 'out' the dude that whined to Jim Hill here.
Yep ... I'm baaaaaaaacccck ... and someone needs to set the record straight on those fanboy 'concepts' of Fire Mountain (which did exist) and Villians Mtn. (which was a figment of fanboys' imagination ... kinda like kissing a girl who isn't made of latex!)
For quite a while, it was widely known behind the scenes who Jim's big WDI source was. And while Jim may have played fast and loose with the quotes (something he does as often as George Bush says we're not in a recession!)there is little doubt he is being fed by said Imagineer again.
And if you take a close look at Jim's column ... take it all in ... and, if you know anything about WDI and which Imagineers have been responsible for which Florida disasters ... well ... Jim is telegraphing who his source is.
I won't.
I don't want any nastiness. Magic all the time!
(oh, and I have 34 years of Disney park going experience ... oops, wrong thread ... ignore that comment)

If it is who I think you are hinting at that doesn't surprise me at all. |

| Spirit of 74 Wed 5/7/2008 8:45p | ^^Hint?
I would never do such a thing ...well, maybe I would ... but all I am saying is if you really look at Jim's column you'd know exactly who is feeding the biggest Disney geek in New Hampshire.
It really is kinda sad.
When your work is bad and you still keep your job by playing the WDI political games, you shouldn't be bitching about the fans.

| mousermerf Wed 5/7/2008 8:51p | First, you think "Who is this piece of work?"
Then someone hints at a particular piece of work, and you think.. "He wouldn't.."
Then you think, "Of anyone, he would." |

| FerretAfros Wed 5/7/2008 9:20p | Would it be somebody that a nice little TB vaccine could take care of, if you know what I'm saying? |

| leobloom Wed 5/7/2008 10:16p | This makes me wish I knew more about Florida's WDI roster.
Good to see you, merf. I find myself checking magic less and less. It's gotten to be a nauseating lovefest over there.
I'm still in shock that the Potato Head AA isn't going to be visible for the FP line. I thought he was supposedly one of the great things about Toy Story Supermarket Sweep. |

You mean the one that loves video projections? The anti-Disney one that has created disaster after disaster for 10 years and got demoted?

ANd Spirit, could you enlighten me a bit on what Fire/Villain mountain really were? I dont want to be spouting off false info in the future.
^Thats not supposed to sound sarcastic either. Genuine interest. |
