| davewasbaloo Tue 5/6/2008 12:52p | Indeed. This is no surprise. The partnership was cessated last year. so as expected, no Happy Meal tie ins anymore, and as thought, a removal of the presence in the parks both East and West coast (YAY!).
I imagine the McD's in DTD Orlando and the Disney Village in DLP will remain however? |

Does McD's still sponsor the Dinosaur ride? Something tells me that sponsorship may eventually go away, too, if it hasn't already. |

| X-san Wed 5/7/2008 6:49a | I'm not all that amazed, William, given Disneys' recent propensity to piss off their partners (Pixar, anyone?).
Side note; did I use that comma correctly? I'm always wondering about that. That and the colon/semicolon thing. I'm sort of on a grammar hype these days. Any help would be appreciated. ;)
ANYWHO, are McDonalds and Coke also parting ways? That seems like a "gigantic brand" match made in heaven.
As far as McD's and Disney, I always felt that it worked well one way but not the other. McDonald's throwing Mickey on every cup and bag works very well, but throwing Big Macs and McFries into the parks just jars me to the very core.
I guess because, despite the reality of the situation, McDonalds always strikes me as very "real world" whereas Disney parks seem like more of an escape.
The last thing I want to see when I'm escaping reality at Disney's Animal Kingdom is some McDonalds stuff being hawked. Way too jarring (even if the generic Disney stuff is, let's be honest, pretty much the same). |

You know what would be awesome if some of these parks would have fresh cut fries like the ones at Kennywood. Those were awesome fries. |

I do like McD's salads, but WDW salads are better!! |

Actually, Disney themed Happy Meals at McDonald's have returned. They were promoting something recently, but I forget what it was. |
