Iron Man 2- April 30, 2010 Thor-June 4, 2010 Captain America- May 6, 2011 The Avengers-July 2011
Things are looking up for Marvel and I have a strong feeling all of these movies will make alot of money. |

Iron Man 2 and Captain America are hitting that first weekend of May which we all know is a great spot. Next year they have Wolverine opening up there who has also been a member of the Avengers, possible cameo in that film. Of course there's also the Incredible Hulk who was a member also.
A little spoiler for the Incredible Hulk film. So be warned:

In the previews you see Tim Roth's character getting injections that turn him into the Abomination. Well those injections are part of the Super Soldier serum which of course was used on Steve Rogers aka Captain America. So that's very cool.
I'm guessing the Avengers could be around July 4. Though hopefully people won't confuse it with the terrible adapation of the tv show a few years back. |

I can't wait to see Thor. His is one of my favorite stories, and I hope they translate it well. It'll be tricky to do well, but if they just stick to Thor with Loki as his nemesis, that could really work. |

This is all great news, but I think it's going to be a huge challenge to get Thor to work in the reality they've built for Iron Man. Looking forward to it though. (I'm already in line for Iron Man 2! :) ) |

| brotherdave Mon 5/5/2008 6:00p | I guess that there won't be any more Fantastic Four movies either. Too bad, as my 10 year old son LOVED those films. I realize that they were 'cheezy', but I found them 'cheezy' in a really fun way that kids could enjoy with their parents. Spidey was a bit too heavy in places for him, and he had no interest in X-Men. He does want to see Iron Man. Is it possibly too intense for his age? Or is it about on par with Spidey? Batman Begins, I feel, is was way too intense in violence for him yet. |

My only concern is that it means the later movies won't make sense to a viewer who hasn't seen the earlier ones. That's a good way to kill a franchise. |
