I think the "need" is get foot traffic over to the pier. Some people want to ride 'screamin' - others don't. Those that do want to manage to hit that one attraction and then vamoose. Those guests that don't want to ride a roller coaster probably don't want to ride spinners and drop rides either.
Part of the imbalance within the park is that up until now the offerings along the pier have largely been low-brow carny rides. To round out the area's theming they added corn dogs, pizza, mcdonalds and a schlocky dinosaur.
The "problem" (if there is one) isn't with the brand new attraction. It's everything else that's all around it - with the notable exception of 'screamin' which is a fun coaster. |

Why do you always have to stir things up? You have a problem with something someone says in a post you use the Report to Moderator link....
The ride looks impressive, i can't wait until DLP gets a clone of it. |

And ...ah forget it, waste of time. |

lots of things going on, been very busy so have not been able to post as much as before.
Lots going on that will affect DCA, Disneyland and some of the other parks future. Lots of exciting things happening.
I think Midway Mania is a great start that will begin to balance the overall experience in DCA. Its finally the first attraction in the pier that anyone of any age will be able to ride and enjoy.
for now I will keep any details up to Al and Honor they have some very accurate info lately |

I don't have a problem with your post, just giving you some friendly advice in case you didn't know where the Report to Moderator link was. Because judging from your comments that had nothing to do with the topic you didn't.... Just trying to help you out. |

I think this is a very good and worthwhile point. |

I hate hearing you say that. I don't want there to be any truth to the fact that DCA's new centerpiece will be a hollow shell of a buidling. HUGE mistake. |
