I think my biggest issue with the stuff that Disney is building these days is that virtually all of it lacks any kind of intellectual foundation. There was a time, not so long ago, when thrills, entertainment, and a sprinkling of education all went hand in had at DL. DCA seemed to start off on that note, but not so much now. Everything is just dumbed down and people seem to follow along mindlessly.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's who is coming to the park. The young folk out there are populating the park more and more, as video games become more and more common."

But is there not a way to incorporate the latest technologies with subjects that this audience can relate to without everything being so commercial and trendy? I guess not.

What I like about the YouTube video is that this does seem to be a fun attraction. And as always, there is the opportunity to change up the various games over time.

Unfortunately, Disney's track record with those sorts of changes is pretty awful -- really, how hard would it be to make a new Star Tours film in the digital age?

I think TSMM will be quite popular, especially since it is a dark ride (kinda) in a park that needs many more dark rides. The exterior adds depth to Paradise Pier compared to what was there before.

Supposedly they already have holiday versions of the games created that can be installed overnight in September for Halloween and November for Christmas. While it sounds like they are the same games, but with different shapes and colors (breaking a pumpkin with a baseball instead of a plate), it still sounds neat. It will certainly add a little something extra to the attractiona, and will make it more interesting to ride year-round. It also shows that, unlike other attractions, they actually do have plans to keep updating this one.

"I didn't have to go see '27 Dresses' to know I would hate it."

"Again, one doesn't always need to experience something first hand to draw safe conclusions. People assume and infer every hr. of every day."

Then I think neither of you should ride this ride. Ever.

But you will. Multiple times.

I predict Moon Waffle's next several posts will cover the same ground as his/her last several posts.

^^Yes, AA's are better- you get a high quality show day or night. Very different than Jungle Cruise or Great Movie Ride. Its always a crapshoot on those two.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
