You are so politically incorrect. The word "Fairies' was outlawed as hate speech several years ago. We now call them "little(ish) pixie-like light people."

"little(ish)" is also defamatory. "teensy-weensy" is more PC.

Well that's another problem - at least for sticklers like me - they're not little(ish) enough - they're full grown women. Small women, to be sure, but not "pixies" either.

Since they're 'face characters' they interact fully with the guests - presumeably little girls mostly. The CMs hired on to play these roles have faces and voices and bodies of adult humans, and the little girls aren't going to "believe" for a minute that they're anything else.

Boy howdy. Just like more than a few Dads would willingly volunteer to wait in line with their kids to see Ariel at her grotto, I imagine the same thing will occur here. In one of those shots, Tinkerbell's face looks mighty grown up and worldly-wise.

I'm all for these fairies. I'm pretty sure I have seen those costumes before. Come to think of it, I think I saw them in the Haloween edition of the Frederick's of Hollywood catalog.

All times are Pacific Time (US)
