Found this on YouTube today. It was there the other day, it disappeared, but now its back.

It looks like a nice redo of BTTF, with SEVERaL nods to the original. It looks fast paced and I really like the Disney referances.

WARNING! WARNING! THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT! WARNING! WARNING! THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT! WARNING! WARNING! THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT! WARNING! WARNING! THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT!

I went on this ride at Universal Hollywood yesterday. It is exactly what I expected. The entrance is fun and some of the videos they show in the line are great, but the other half is just episodes of the show. I did like that doc Brown made an appearance as a simpson character. There are still some things being worked on. I saw tape on the walls with directions to move a tv monitor from one spot to another. Not all of the effects on the ride were working but it did not bother me since it was only the flash for the photo they take of you. They were not selling them yet. The old Back to the Future store is now a Quick E Mart but the stuff is so generic, all the same stuff you can buy at Hot Topic. The Doc Browns fried Chicken place is still there but not open. What a tease that was.

The worst part of all. I don't think they changed the motion of the ride. You get swallowed by a Giant Maggie, and it comes at about the same time as when you got swallowed by a Dinosaur in BTTF. You float on water jut like in BTTF. And since it is 3D the characters look all computery and it made me slightly sick. That never happened to me on the old ride.
To recap for you. It was fun but not all that great. Exactly what I expected. After all it was not closed for very long, they could not have done very much to the place. I miss Back to the Future and E.T. I am sure I will go on it again since I am a huge Simpson's fan but it was not anything to write home about.
