Ugh, and my job I had tomorrow just got cancelled. All you can do is laugh and pay those higher prices cause otherwise you go crazy I guess.

And don't even get me started on groceries! Now I shop at Sam's and buy cereal boxes that are too tall to even fit in my pantry!!!!

Ohh watch that - I priced it out at costco - and it was less to buy it at Safeway on sale!!

Trust me - I about threw a party when Costco was on a little above $100 today instead of closer to $300 -

No, I priced it too. I usually buy my cereal at TArget 'cause it's cheaper than even the grocery store sale prices (unless they have the $1.50/box sale, in which case I buy it there), but the ones I'm buying at Sam's are cheaper.

Trust me, I look for price per oz and item and do a lot of comparing!!!

Of course, I have found things I don't buy at Sam's because it's not cheaper.

I have heard that Sam's Club is good - but we only have Costco as you know!
I have a pantry full of Honey Nut Cherrios and Mini Wheats from the last sale Safeway had - $1.25 a box!!

Okay, this weeks Safeway ad has Cheerios, 14 oz. on sale for $2.50. That's $.178/oz. I paid $.128/oz at SAm's.

See, I check!!! ;P

I paid $1.00 a box for a bunch of cereal last week. If the world goes under and food isn't available, I'll be living on dry chex. (Hmm. I should get some powdered milk.)

Ooh, I do buy it when it costs $1.25/box, but I HATE our local Safeway. It's filthy and disgusting. I had a friend who is taking microbiology who was going to do testing on the shopping carts there because they were so gross.

Yeah, you need the good old powdered milk!

Where did you find cereal for $1.00/box? I haven't seen it less than $1.25 since prices have gone up.

I refuse to pay more than $2. for any cereal - reguardless of size!! LOL! I just counted I have 29 boxes of cereal - 13 boxes of instant oatmeal - and 9 boxes of chewy granola bars!!

I check too - I constantly get bugged for the sweet cereals - or life - but it doesn't seem to go on sale often enough!!
