| greenbean Wed 8/6/2008 8:12a | I understand where you guys are coming from, but I think Disney was just trying to do something different. There haven't been any movies with this type of plot, so you can't blame them for trying.
It seems like a lot of movie studios are running out of ideas for movies, which is why we are seeing a lot of remakes of older movies now.
So, I guess Disney is thinking outside the box on this one, so you should applaud them for that. Also, I am sure a lot of people though WALL-E looked stupid, and lok how well that did. |

They look so clunky and stilted when they're talking.

The point is, the Disney movies of the 70s were pretty hit and miss.
'1,000,000 Dollar Duck' is pretty clunky. As is 'The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes' 'The Barefoot Executive' 'The Treasure of Matecumbe' -- should I go on? |

What can I say: I am a fan of 50's through 70's live-action.
But I'm not going to see the Chihuahua movie.
