Disney has also increased admission media, food prices, hotel rates, and now parking. I am afraid a lot of people are not going to make it Disney this year, and Disney raising prices across the board is not sitting well. Disney has always had a reputation of being expensive. But they were throwing out new attractions like Pirates and Space Mt. Now they are offering up some traveling carnival attractions and the prices have skyrocketed. I believe the DCA aftertaste hurts them when they try to raise prices. |

I'm in agreement that a visit to Disney is an expensive proposition, however I don't get why a $1 increase in parking has people so upset. The assumption here seems to be that Disney's costs have remained the same and the company is simply raising prices because they can. |

If anything I feel cheated because most of the new things that they are adding don't really appeal to me. Nevertheless, no one can accuse Disney of increasing prices and not investing in DLR.

Thats sort of how I felt the first walk through DCA. Especially after paying Disney prices and carnival rides just not appealing to me. Cheated is the exact word. And oddly enough I haven't made the effort to return since 2002. So obviously the parking rate won't effect me at all. |

Yes, but that's why I prefer DLR over WDW. You can step out of the park, quickly go back to your better value non Disney hotel, rest, and then eat a better value (and quality) dinner off property before returning for some more hours of fun. |
