So on July 25th-27th I'm doing the less know parts of WDW for a weekend. On the 25th we will get there and head straight to the Grand Floridain. I have 4 young girls in my group so I'm going to do the Wonderland Tea Party, sounds like they will really enjoy it. Just wondering if they eat lunch with the characters and a good less expensive place to eat at the hotel. Anyway after that we will check-in to Fort Wilderness. We will swim in the pool for a little bit then get ready to go to Spirit Of Aloha. We are not going to go to Hopp Dee Doo Revue only b/c most of my group has already experienced it. After that we will go to the Polynesian Beach for the Elecrical Water Pagent. Love that! On Saturday we will go to Typhoon Lagoon. How long should we spend there? That night we will go to the Fort's campfire. Hopefully it's a good movie :) On Sunday 4 ofgroup is leaving so the other 6 is going to Blizzard Beach. Where should we eat at the Water Parks? And tell if anything is bad or a better party for the kids. THANKS!!

Your plans sounds like a lot of fun. At the Grand Floridian I'm fond of the Cafe but I'm not sure it would qualify as less expensive. They do have a quick service location as well which I've found tasty.

I love the Electrical Water Pageant. Its an adorable little piece of classic entertainment.

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite of the water parks 'cause I love Crush N Gusher, the wave pools and the lazy river. I find the water parks among the most flexible as water slides are fairly standard experiences so it would depend on how much your family loves the water. My typical trip to Typhoon Lagoon (I'm a local so can go often) is 4 or 5 hours. I like to get to the water park as close to open as possible and leave so I can head back home shower and have a late lunch -or- early supper. I don't typically eat at the water park so I can't offer advise there.

On the first of the month we post the Fort Wilderness Movie list so you'll know the movie if you want..

I look forward to reading about your experiences when you return.

Rebekah.
