Will be interesting to see how it plays domestically. I don't think there is any doubt that it will play very well abroad (you only have to look at the incredible international gross of The Golden Compass for that - it has done over 80% of its business outside North America to bring the cume to over $370m). |

The trailer did make Prince Caspian seem a bit darker and more exciting. I'm glad to see that this works well for the film. I will definitely be seeing it this week. |

It was surprisingly good. I wasn't prepared to like it as much as I did.
I enjoyed the use of visual effects to tell a story, and to not just be there as visual effects.
It sounded great, too! Kudos to the mixers and sound designers.
I found it darker, but then again, the story is darker.
For those with children, please do take into account your child's maturity level. One lady I sat with refused to allow her 9 year-old niece to see it because she knows it is too much for her. Another lady said the same for her 8 year-old child. But, a father there with a 10 year-old boy just knew he'd love it. It is violent in bits, and scary in bits. And it does have a...

I may have liked it even better than the first!
I felt emotionally attatched to this film in certain scenes and I could feel my eyes getting watery a couple of times.
Recommending that everyone go see it in theatres! |

| Witches of Morva Sun 5/18/2008 7:56a | ORWEN: Oh, yes! PRINCE CASPIAN is a winner of a movie and reminds us Cauldron girls of what our lives are like here in the Land of Prydain! All that sword and sorcery stuff, you know.
ORDDU: So many gorgeous hunks in this film, too! I found it necessary to bring an entire box of tissues in order to mop up all the drool from Peter, Caspian and a whole army of delicious looking warriors.
ORGOCH: Yeah, well, yer the only tramp I know who can take a nice movie like this an' turn it inta some kind a personal smut fest!! |

| jasmine7 Sun 5/18/2008 8:35a | I saw it yesterday, and I loved it! Reepicheep was already my favorite character from Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but adding Eddie Izzard as his voice was just icing on the cake for me. Just a great movie all around. |
