I usually just refer to it as "this year". As in "May of this year" or "earlier this year". My second choice is oh eight. Sometimes I do use A or B but never C.

I say B, two thousand eight.

Next year I will say two thousand nine. Then twenty ten, twenty eleven, twenty twelve and so on...

A. Which almost everyone calls it in Australia, I think B's probably a more American term (sort of like how we say 'the 12th of May' and you say 'May 12th').

A is the usual British way. I think B sounds very American and not widely used here in Blighty!!!
