Thing is you have a support system here and people who care, and it sounds like you're dealing with that heavy stuff again (you're a saint for doing what you do!).
I did notice that you seemed rather short and irritable lately but it's totally understandable. I don't think you should go away just because of that, people understand.
Anyway, if any of my replies added to your frustration I'm sorry for that. Hope you stick around! |

I am praying that you will be able to achieve some balance in your life. Your work is important. Your family is important. Your social network is important as well.
It is not my intent to interfere in your life, but I cannot help but feel you have a need for someone with whom you can share your particular needs. Someone who can stand back enough to get a good view of what seems to be happening.
Perhaps your employer has a plan to provide such a person, or you may have a long time trusted confidant. If such a one is available, let me encourage you to not carry your burden alone. Help is available.

I agree with fodd though (as usual!), your "real" life is more important so if you do decide to take a break for a while, we'll miss you horribly but be here waiting when you get back. |

Mon 5/12/2008 5:36a | Dave, LP would not be the same place without you. I too missed whatever post this is refering to but hopefully with a short break from LP and getting whatever needs to be ironed out in the real world gets taken care of you'll be able to come back to LP and enjoy yourself. :o)
