(Pardon any potential typos but i am not accustomed to french keyboards!)

Thanks to all who replied to my previous thread ("anaheim reg"... etc). I think DLP is a go!!!

I have a few questions: at DL the cast members have to let you in the line even if your FP has already expired. Does the same rule apply to DLP?

Also, I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share, if you have one (or one in mind), your DLP sort of "itinerary", ie the rides you normally go on and in what order so as to have minimum wait time.

I think we may go on Friday may 16th as it is open from 10 am to 10 pm. Is it very crowded on fridays?

What would be your opinion if we decided to instead go on this wednesday from 1 pm to 7 pm?

Is it normally crowded at this time of year?

Don't have time to answer in full, but many French schools are closed on Wednesdays so they can be busier than the average midweek day!!!

I don't know about your FP question as it's never come up for me. I don't know how strict they are.

Assuming that Fantasyland isn't a big draw I would head to BTM at rope drop(follow the left line, I know it's not supposed to work, but it really does here) and then head directly to Indy, if you want to keep moving you could FP it. Once you've done those you've got the 2 biggest lines on that side of the park licked. Whilst on this side of the park you should try and work in a showing of Tarzan in Frontierland. Don't miss Phantom Manor which should be reasonable at most times so visit when it fits best. In Adventureland you can tour Adventure Isle, The Swiss Family Treehouse and (for what of a better English translation) Aladdin's Enchanted Passageway at your leisure. POTC usually posts about a 20 minute wait. This is another one where you should keep an eye out for empty queue lines, very often not all 4 lines are being used.

You should be able to get all that done by lunchtime (assuming a late lunch at 2ish).

I would leave most of Fantasyland for now as here more than anywhere the crowds drop off reasonably early. I would visit some of the unique attractions such as Alice's Curious Labyrinth, Sleeping Beauty's Castle and Dragon and perhaps IASW now and then come back later. If Peter Pan is important to you I would Fastpass it now.

I would then use some time seeing shows (Don't miss The Lion King in Discoveryland and see Tarzan if you skipped it later). For The Lion King show to save time you can watch it from the restaurant seating in the Cafe Hyperion. I'd also use this time to shop if you want to as they main shops will be packed later in the day.

In Discoveryland Star Tours is expendable as it's essentially the same, but with Rex speaking French, Ditto for HISTA, where the French soundtrack overpowers the English on the headphones anyway. I would check out the waits for Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain and then plan those accordingly. In theory they could still have reasonably long waits. I would make a point of visiting the Nautilus as it's prone to closing early. If both have long waits I would come back in the last hour the parks open and you should do both relatively easily. Likewise, it's possible to ride The Carousel, Tea Cups, Snow White, Pinocchio and Dumbo in about an hour from about 8pm onwards.

In short my itinerary would run something like this:

Frontierland/Adventureland (including Tarzan) 1000-1400
Fantasyland Highlights 14:30-16:00
Shopping, Entertainment and Dinner 16:00-18/19:00 (Depending on schedule)
Fantasyland 19:00-20:30
Discoveryland 20:30-22:00

You should get most things done in a day, but you'll know whether to skip anything according to your tastes.

I hope you have a great time!!!

Noy sure but I doubt it, during my last trip the Cast Members were being very strict on the FP rule. Please also bare in mind the FP slots close quicker than at other parks.

Now that I think about it the cast did scrutinize may Space Mnt. fastpasses far more carefully than other foreign destinations--- as if I was going through customs and having my passport checked.

(those cats in Euro can spot an Yankee from 10 miles away--- so maybe the DLP cast figured since I was from the States that I was used to lax FP return times.... or maybe they just don't like Yanks anyway so they will give us the third degree whenever possible :) )

THANK YOU!! That helps tons!

Anyone care to answer my question about friday crowds? Is friday really crowded, since its open longer, or could a first timer tolerate them pretty well?

Also what time should we get there to buy tickets? I dont want to stand in line for too long at the ticket kiosks. Are there lots of people at 9:30?

People often visit for the Weekend on breaks so yes expect the parks to be busy, and of course the hotels.

I think if you get to the gates an hour before, so you have time to buy tickets and get inside the parks ready for your first destination. Thanks to the free breakfast offered at the hotels a lot of guest will not start arriving until after the 10.00 am opening. So it will give you a good head start.

Friday will be busier as people arrive for weekend breaks, but will be better than visiting on a weekend day.

According to DLRP Magic tickets can be bought in Paris from the following:

Major RATP (Metro/RER) Ticket desks in Paris
Disney Store on the Champs-Elysees in Paris
Virgin Megastore on the Champs-Elysees in Paris
Most Fnac stores in Paris
Travel Agents, and more... just spot the signs

If you can buy your ticket in advance while you tour Paris it will certainly be quicker than at the front gates, though you may not get any promotions that might be running!!!
All times are Pacific Time (US)
