Anyone know the rehabs scheduled for Sept/Oct '08? In particular, when does HM go down for the change over and when does it open again? Thanks!

HM goes down in September and I am not sure whether it come back up in late September or in October. And to the best of my knowledge Small World will still be down. Other than that I don't know.

Don't remember where I saw this but I believe that the HM will be brought back up on the 28th of Sept.

Do not quote me though. :)

Last September 2007, the HM reopened around Sept 21st.
I remember it was opened 1 week earlier than in 2006 when we missed it by 1 week.
I'm also considering moving my trip back 1 week in Sept just in case.

The info I have has Haunted Mansion closing Tuesday, September 2nd, and reopening Friday, September 19th, which will be the start for HalloweenTime in both parks.

"small world" will still be closed, and there is a good chance some smaller attractions might be closed in Disneyland. Also, a rumor that California Screamin' might close down for the fall over at DCA.

Too funny the Haunted Mansion closes 9 days before we get there and reopens 5 days after we leave. Oh well I don't want to change the dates now.

I arrive on September 10th, do you think the parks will be Halloween Decoration free still at that stage? The decorations look good, but I'd rather see Disneyland without decoration for at least a couple of days.

You might see a little bit of Halloween decorations starting to go up each day while you are there.
Since HM is closed beginning Sept 2 I would guess there will be a sprinkling of orange and black around the parks.

I know what you mean about seeing DL decoration free. We were there last year at Halloween time and Christmas time.
I love it, it's beautiful but I would like some pictures without pumpkins this year.

Our best Photopass picture happened to be the one in front of the big giant Mickey pumpkin on Main St. So that's the one we used for our Christmas card.
