What?? |

| WilliamK99 Tue 5/20/2008 2:07p | I thought the same thing Hans, Iron Man made alot of money so the recession theory is out the window. |

Mawnck predicts:
*Serious* underperformance from Wall E. American audiences, minds numbed to Jello by too many Will Ferrell movies, won't be able to follow the story because there's no dialog. Jim Hill declares it a disappointment, and is branded the Antichrist by Pix-ies all over the internet. |

| WorldDisney Wed 5/21/2008 5:09a | LOL, I highly doubt the recession has anything to do with Narnia's underperformance since as its been mentioned it didn't stop Ironman from making a truck load of money a few weeks before. Oh god, it's must be the economy, THAT'S why its not performing well.....hmm, I swear...I heard this argument before with another Disney product....a few years back....just can't figure out......where ;).
Okay, my top 5 summer predictions, because this thread can't get anymore off topic than it is lol:
(In no particular order)
-Indy 4 -Ironman -The Dark Knight -Hancock (yep! Its Will Smith people lol) -Tropic Thunder (HUGE hype and late release date) |

And the numbers prove that the domestic market can't support such an expensive production. Here is what they should have done. First they spent WAY too much on this film. They should have spent 1/3 the amount. So they could recupe. They really needed to find some seemless way to include Stitch, Woody, and Buzz Lightyear into the film. And it should have been 3-D and they should have issued everyone a sticker book scavernger hunt so as you watch the film you can place the sticker objects into the correct scene. Because the tween target demo loves interactive. |

| dshyates Wed 5/21/2008 6:59a | Man, I should have said "Stitch, Buzz, and Lightening McQueen". That would have been funnier. Can you see them try to shoehorn Lightening McQueen into Narnia. "What about a REALLY big helmet." |

Well, I hope that over-hyping doesn't bother you too much about everything. Disney will be hyping Wall-E to the max before it comes out. Of course, so far, the Wall-E marketing has been VERY entertaining.
