We arrived on sunday, May 4th at noon. Since our room at Hojo's was not ready we made our way to DL. Rode Buzz, snow white and POTC. Had lunch at Riverbelle and then over to DCA for a 40 min wait at Monsters Inc. It shut down after waiting for 30 min but to my suprise DH wanted to wait. Glad we did as it was running again after 10 more min. We then went back to the hotel to get our room and rest. Then it was back to DCA for the bug's land rides, Bug show and MV3D. We then found a nice spot for the electrical parade and ended our day with dinner at Mimi's.

Day 2. We started our day riding the DL train with Shiva and Tinkeroon. It was wonderful to meet new LP friends. We had plans to ride Space Mt. but went to toontown instead and took a ride on roger rabbit, gadget go coaster and went through Mickey's house. Then it was off to POTC,and HM. We then headed over to Winnie the Pooh when DH suggested I ride Splash with DD8. So he and DS4 ride Pooh while DD8 and I go on Splash. I was so happy we had the back. We stayed fairly dry until it loops around the corner after the drop and a big wave of water hit our laps. Thank goodness we were wearing clothes that dry quickly. After that we went on Jungle cruise, tiki room with a yummy dole whip, and then lunch at taste pilot's. Took DS4 to see playhouse disney after Soarin over CA. Then it was monsters inc, TT with crush and the Pixar Parade. The kids loved this parade but DH got a shot of water in the ear and his glasses were all wet. :) I enjoyed A Rita during the parade. We then took DS4 on his first Space Mt. adventure. He loved it! Then we ended our night with the bobsleds,Alice and POTC. Will post days 3 & 4 later.

What a great trip. That is so cool that DS4 enjoyed his first ride on Space Mt. That is one of my favorites, but I didn't like it until I was in my 20s.

I am totally jealous that you got to meet Shiva and Tinkeroon. Of course I am jealous that they got to meet you too. Hopefully we will all get to meet next year.

I'm looking forward to day 3 and 4.

Awesome, Mater! How was the 'Rita? (You know I've never had one there...)

DS is brave to ride Space at 4!

TX, Space Mt. has always been a favorite of mine, DH and DD. I am just happy that we get to enjoy it with DS now.

Tink the Rita was yummy! You really need to splurge on at least 1. It will keep you cool in July. :) I like the regular ones over the strawberry. The strawberry is too sweet for me.

I was there with you in spirit! What a great report. Isn't it fun getting your kids on their first rides of the big rides?
Look forward to the next instalment.

My older kids loved Space Mountain when they rode it for the first time in March. I remember the first time I went on it I was around 10 and I kept my eyes closed the whole time and I hated it. I used to be such a chicken. Times sure have changed. :)

Oh, yeah! I meant to compliment your brave 4 year old DS! What a trooper! My DD (now 33 and a DL fanatic) literally fainted on the Matterhorn when she was 5...took her a LONG time to get over that fear!

I thought she had died. Honestly. Of a heart attack or something. I was bawling by the time the ride ended. She was still out like a light...

STiL - That would have so freaked me out. What a trauma for both of you!!!

Mater - We did not have time to do Screamin at DCA. I was very disappointed as it looked like a blast.
