If you haven't seen this before (and it's at least a couple of years old) it's worth checking out. It's pretty self explainitory once you're looking at it. Every time gas spikes I remember about gasbuddy.com, and when gas slowly sinks down I forget again. :-)

Another feature of the site is a graphing feature that lets you graph prices for as long as they have data (6 years right now). It's interesting to note that for the past 4 years or so gas has started going down in late April. (Though never as far down as it was, of course.)

My psycic prediction is that gas is almost as high as it's going to go for this spike. Barring a major natural disaster I think we'll get to nationwide average of $3.90 or so, and start sinking the first week in June. Feel free to resurect this thread then and remind me how wrong I was. :)

I didn't see a link for this on the gasbuddy site but there are companion sites where you can see actual prices reported by the people driving in the area. I know that Phoenix, Tucson, and Portland have them. Here is one for Orange County: http://www.orangecountygasprices.com/

That is a gas buddy site. Here's our area:

Murfsmom may want to note that our gas stations on the mountain are some of the most expensive in the region.

From the Temp map you would go to the home page, and from there you can navagate to your area.

Great. Looks like my little town has the most expensive gas in our county. Well, I already knew that, lol. Lucky that I'm near other stations, too.

Yeah, gas isnt too bad here in Wyoming. You do have to drive an hour and a half to get to the station though...
