Unfortunately the promotion for the free pedometer has ended (I didn't get one either). I should get 2 though for the next time we go to Disneyland. One for myself and one for DH. The kids and I like to run back and forth across the park for short lines, get fastpass and make showtimes, while DH waits for us. It will be neat to compare.

What a fun topic! DH wore a pedometer on a DL trip once, but I forgot the step count. I finally got my Innoventions pedometer about a month ago, so I'll have to try it out on our trip next week!

A virtual walk around DL sounds really fun! I think I'll try it sometime!

There is a great website where the webmaster always counts his steps and the distance walked in each of his trip reports. He visits Disneyland about every other week. Check out http://www.disneygeek.com I really like this site.

We did this in March over Spring Break when we were down there - but we didn't do anything as intricate as counting steps from Point A to Point B. We just wore our pedometers and made our daily recordings. I think on the day that we park hopped between DL and DCA (plus we walked from our Hotel instead of waiting for the shuttle) - we hit over 20,000 steps (we did a LOT of walking that day). For the week (5 days in the parks) we ended up with over 100,000 steps.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
