At the Knesset, the incredibly inept and embarrassing president of this country compared talking to Iran to appeasing Hitler. In the linked article, White House aides admit to CNN that Bush was directing his remarks ro Obama. In my opinion, Bush is a raging idiot.

Joe Biden's comments on the senate floor are spot on. He was pissed, and rightly so. It never ceases to amaze me how low Bush can sink.

His statements are not only idiotic and blatantly partisan politics, but hypocritical as well, considering that (from the link):

"The Bush administration held three rounds of discussions with Iran about security in Iraq last year, including two at the ambassadorial level, and Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Wednesday that Washington needed to "figure out a way to develop some leverage ... and then sit down and talk with" Iran."

So his own administration DOES talk to Iran (and should), then he says that talking to Iran constitutes appeasement? Huh? How dumb does he think the electorate is? And McCain, disappointingly, played into it rather than disowning it or saying something simple like "Mr. Bush does not speak for me on this matter." In fact, it would have been a perfect opportunity for him to say something like that.

As someone who has been dissappointed with Bush, I must say that he was spot on with every sentence.

I know Democrats, particularly the far left, dont want to be percieved the way Bush described, but the truth is that they are weak and naive on many security issues.

The problem is that this administration has been stupid on many security issues.

Making it a complete wash!!!!

When I was in fifth grade my sister who was in second transfered to a new school. At the school I knew a few people from playing little league. But of course being the new kid I was subject to picked on by a bully. He would taunt me on the way home. I'd tell him stop, give him some of my lunch, tell my parents, teachers. He'd get in trouble, then of course there'd be more harassment. Again I'd tell him to stop, more harassment more getting picked on. The last day of school I had enough and instead of telling him to stop picking on me. I punched him in the face and when he was a little stunned at what I had done. I punched him again so he knew I had enough. He never bothered me again. Sometimes talking doesn't work.

I'm marching right over to Iran and punching Armadinikjdsajfajg in the face!!! And taking his lunch money.

But in your example, DAR, you waited until the last day of school. So, you didn't have to return to find out he'd gathered a few more bullies to escalate the situation.

I know talking doesn't always work. I think Ahmadina, gjahgfmjgcaca is a maniac. But if we don't at least give some diplomacy a try, we look like the bully. If we had a true, solid coalition we wouldn't be left holding the bag in Iraq.

Surely we can outsmart a little twerp in a wrinkly Member's Only jacket, can't we?

Talking does not equal giving in. We talked to the Soviets for 40 years. Because it was in OUR interests to do so. And it's a good thing we did.

<As someone who has been dissappointed with Bush, I must say that he was spot on with every sentence.>

How can he have been spot on? He equated talking to Iran with weakness. Meanwhile, his own administration is talking to them. Is he saying his own administration is weak? Or it's only weak when other people do it? He's not spot on - Biden and others have pointed out his hypocrisy and put him on the spot.
