| mater4 Thu 5/15/2008 2:35p | We woke up early and decided to head over to DCA first. DH was feeling much better and figured it was the allrgies that had bothered him the day before. :) We get through the gates and immediately ride Soarin in the top row. After we exit the ride the rest of the park has not opened. So we wait for the rope drop and DD and I head to Screamin so DH can film it. I must say that it was nice not to be trampled by runners. DH and I are always amused at the people that take off running through the gates or at rope drop. So we ride Screamin, mulholland, and head over to Bug's land for those rides. Finally one last go at Monster's Inc. and then over to DL. We take a motor car up to the hub and have lunch at Coke Corner. Peter Pan was next on the list and then Mr. toad,Alice, tea cups, pinocchio, casey Jr.,Space, star tours, buzz, matterhorn, HM and POTC. We stopped for a ride on the riverboat and a Billy show. The night ended with dinner at the Plaza and a few more rides. Then it was back to the hotel to pack up and sleep before a really early departure of 5am.
I must add that we had a room on the 7th floor at Hojo's. (don't mind the skylights) The new beds are MUCH better and it was nice to have a microwave and safe in the room. There is construction going on with the new pirate thing that they are putting in. Luckily there were no issues with noise from construction. |

I thought we would have to wait until 10am to ride but that was not the case. We were on the ride at 9:33am and off in time for the rope drop to the rest of the park. |

That is so true. We always save that day for favorites and whatever we have not seen.
Retlawfan that explains why we saw no rope on that side. Saw that Soarin was open and looked no further. :) |
