But the WDW version of Peter Pan is totally different from the Disneyland version. It is bigger and has a different load system which allows it to handle more people per hour and make fastpass work.
You are correct that the DCA version is slightly longer because it has to go out to the show building behind Screaming, but (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) The WDW version has an extra row of video screens and which allows it to handle those few extra cars. |

Great to hear from Westsider, who's no pushover, that it's actually a lot of fun. |

| The Goddess Mara Fri 5/16/2008 12:48p | I've ridden Peter Pan in Orlando, Anaheim, and Tokyo and haven't noticed any difference in the ride system: small two-seat "boat" suspended from overhead. You get on via a moving walkway like the Mansion and exit the same way. What's the difference? |

| Hans Reinhardt Fri 5/16/2008 1:00p | No moving walkway at DLR. |

That way I can get there a couple hours after opening, get a FP for that evening and not have to worry about keeping my kids entertained for 90 minutes, which keeps everyone happy, including other guests. : )
They may have chosen no FP(and maybe no single rider) because of space limitations. Obviously they didn't want the line to run along the launch of Screamin and then cross over a main walkway, but they had to put it somewhere. They chose to use extra space by giving us additional ride time as opposed to using it for line space. I can live with that.
Then again by not having FP they may get more early entries into the park to ride TSMM, which will help out DCA's overall numbers. |

Attractions like
Buzz, Roger Rabbit, Indiana Jones should never have received fastpass. Its a relief to see that people in charge in Anaheim are realizing that and did not push for it on Midway Mania. All Fastpass does is make the standby lines longer and crowd the walkways |
