I would rethink this one. |

| disneylandfan8 Mon 6/2/2008 2:53p | OK... here's the scoop:
I called 3 different tattoo shops.
The first, Kari Barba's Outer limits Tattoo wants a $60 minimum charge and they'll work with us on the deposit (he said I sounded "nice"!) They are open at 11am and are located near Beach Blvd & Ball Road, very close to DL. The guy's name is Charlie and their website is www.outerlimitstattoo.com.
The second one I called, Classic Tattoo Parlor also wants a $60 minimum with a $40-$60 deposit. They're open 12-10 and are located 4-5 miles North on Harbor Blvd. The guy's name is Kevin and website is www.classictattoo.net.
The last one sounds the best, Good Fellas Tattoo Lounge, www.goodfellastattoo.com. He said they normally do $80 minimum, but he said if we have more than 3 he'll only charge $50 minumum, with no deposit! They are located 5 min away at Ball & Glassel (I think that is the street spelling??). The guy I talked to is named Grim!
Let's think about this and if we still want to do it, please let me know. My email address is in my profile!
I found my Hidden Mickey tattoo art on ebay - it's a purple Mickey head pin - very simple. It's a good place to look for art, unless you already have your art!
If we all do something small, it shouldn't take long at all. My Cheshire Cat took 45 minutes and it's rather large. |

| Jim in Merced CA Mon 6/2/2008 4:24p | Not that I'm going, but having had some experience with tattoos, to me the key is to go to a shop that has multiple artists.
That way, 2-3 of you can be getting tattoos at the same time.
Remember, that between tattoos, the artist will need to totally re-do his work section -- toss out the little ink cups, clean the work surfaces, re-load his tattoo machine with new needles etc...
Have fun. And be sure to tip your artists! Even if it's $5 -- |

| disneylandfan8 Mon 6/2/2008 4:30p | Yes, Jim in Merced, you are correct. All three tat shops I contacted will have multiple artists available if we can make a reservation. We must be sure of the number of people who will be going & getting new tats! |

| iamsally Mon 6/2/2008 5:14p | This sounds like it could be doable. What does everyone else think? |

| disneylandfan8 Mon 6/2/2008 5:17p | Another thing to keep in mind, will anyone have a car? Big enough to transport 5 or so people? We are flying in so we won't have a car. |

| iamsally Mon 6/2/2008 8:33p | We have a Honda Pilot. Seats 8. But we are planning to go to Magic Mountain in the morning and I do not think we will be back in time(around 2PM) cuz I know people want to get to the pukin' meet at 3. I will wait to see if this picks back up before I commit. |

| oneyepete Tue 6/3/2008 3:05p | I have made a temporary tattoo (applied with water) with mickey on it for those who want a tattoo without the needles. I will have them at the big meet on the 17th. Come find me and get ONE. If I still have any left and you didn't make the Big meet, I will be attending other meets where you can get ONE until they're gone. |
