4	leemac Sat 5/17/2008 2:39a	No worries Dave. I'm pretty saddened by the news - there aren't many people who have had that impact on one single industry. He was also a delightful man. My thoughts go out to his widow Magrit, brother Peter, daughter Marcia and sons Michael and Tim. The company that bares his name may not be the same family business any more (it is part of Constellation Brands) but the place was still Robert's playground. It is always a must on any of our trips up to Oakville and Napa in general.
5	SuzieQ Sat 5/17/2008 12:16p	Stop by Opus One next time you head to the Napa Valley. It's a collaboration winery he was part of. They produce one single wine - the idea being by concentrating on just one wine, they can get the most perfect blend.
6	Spirit of 74 Sat 5/17/2008 1:21p	I met the man only once, but he was charming as Lee said. I did get to know Marcia a bit in the lead up to the DCA opening and she was also a pleasure. Very down to earth. It's sad, but it's also safe to say that Robert led life to the fullest. We should all toast the man!
