Yes its better than most theme parks out. But just because we can say that, doesn't make it a great Disney Park. For Disney parks, its one of the worst. Obviously.

Yeah ... so bad, Disney refuses to mention it in ads for Toy Story Midway Mania!

I love how people keep on slamming WDSP without actually having been there. I stand by my claim that overall, WDSP is better than Disney Studios at WDW.

DCA is better than any of the crap at WDW especially that Studios park! Epcot's world showcase is pretty and nicely themed, but other than that, Future World is ugly, and EPCOT is a very boring park with not many exciting things to do. MK is lame and a cheap knock-off of Disneyland, which is much better. If DCA was built at WDW, instead of in California, then I'm sure it would have been a hit!

Then you must be ecstatic when people like me, who HAVE actually been there, slam WDSP. It's YOUR opinion that WDSP is better than DHS in WDW. It's our opinion that WDSP is currently one, if not THE worst Disney park.

I am totally with William - I think WDSP is better than DHS (and I would rather go to WDSP than the MK too!)

And remember, the European market is very different than the American market, I kid you not, I went on tripadvisor to read reviews of hotels, and May 21 for the hotel NY I read:

"The Disney Studios park was better than the original park as it was less crowded, had better shows and was more suited to older people.

The fast pass is a free service that allows you to go on some rides without ques, however this service wasn't offered on some of the rides which meant queing for approximatley 75 minutes for some rides. If your looking for a theme park specifically for the rides then Disneyland Paris isn't the right place.

The two shows we saw in Disney Studios were great, first was a stunt show which made the whole day worthwhile, second was Animagique - a show with all the classic disney songs."

WDSP has fans even from the non Disney fan community. I know my parents prefer WDSP to DL or DLP too.

In the last 12 months, WDSP has added "Crush's Coaster", Tower of Terror, The Car teacup type ride which I forgot the name and Meet Stitch.

That has helped increase its value, upcoming they are planning on adding Playhouse Disney and I am hearing slight rumors of a Ratatouille ride coming sometime soon. I just think based on its lack of offerings on Opening day, it is getting a bad rap based on its reputation, and not on reality.

>>>I just think based on its lack of offerings on Opening day, it is getting a bad rap based on its reputation, and not on reality.<<<

I do think people focus on quanitity rather than quality. And also, the environment is not as special as the others. But in rushing through it, people do miss the fantastic performers here. DLP has very little live entertainment other than rubber heads. WDSP is full of it, and some of it uniquely European - they had an Italian Cinema band that were out of this world, the Key Stone Cops band, a huge Big Band - enjoying a beer in Studio One while listening to a Big Band was increadible (or even dancing in S1 to one), as well as the steetmousphere. To me, live entertainment is as important as e tickets. The lack of it at MK is what drives me crazy about the place, and the wonderful live entertainment at DL, Epcot and DAK endear those parks to me. WDSP has some very special nuances, and scope to grow.

In the early years, one Disney Trick was they had a red carpet that when you left you were applauded, and asked for autographs. One of the very cute WDSP gems.
