I have to say, a part of me would enjoy a solo trip. I have enjoyed Tivoli Gardens on my own. And attended shows, concerts and eaten alone while on the road. I have enjoyed a few hours on my own at DLP and even at Epcot. However, with using single rider while the kids are small, the attractions do not feel the same without Sarah or the kids by my side.

So, if I were living alone, I would definately go to any Disney resort solo, quite happily. If it meant leaving my family to go, then I would not do it, especially as I do not believe in vacations away from family (that's what work is for).

Go and have a great time. Maybe take a book if no one in the lines are chatty or same at a restaurant. Talk to everyone. And go to places designed for interactivity (The Adventurer's Club, Comedy Warehouse and Jelly Rolls all spring to mind). Have a great time.

Well it looks like the Bon Jovi tribute band will be there during my visit. I think my daughter may come over and join me for the concert as the real Bon Jovi is one of her faves.

Of course I'll still have the 1st part of day to myself and I can't wait. It will be so very hot I like moving @ a snell's pace and ducking into the shops and films.
