| sarahwithbaloo Mon 5/19/2008 10:18a | Hi all I have just come home from the vets as our poor Mocha was acting a little down for the last day or so and not eating.
I left her with them to do a blood test and scan for a possible post season infection.
I no sooner got home and explained to the kids that the Vet thinks Mocha has a tummy ache when the phone rang and yes she has a very serious infection and they have to operate as soon as possible performing a full historectamy (I do not think you call it that in dogs but I know what that means any way) the prognosess as always because of the anistetic is so,so but providing she comes through the OP OK she should be fine.
Can I just ask you all for a nice big vertual fingers crossed. The power of LP has been so great in the past and I am here hoping we can do it again.
Thank you all in advance and I will update you when I can. |

Anyhow, I hope the poor pooch gets well soon. |

Thank you all no news yet but I guess it may be a while the vets close for apointments at 7pm (about 5mnis ago our time) but behind the scenes I guess they are 24 hours.

Well just had an update she has come through the OP and has literaly just woken up she is not out of the woods yet as there may be bleeding or somthing as they Pyometra was huge but it is a good start. If all goes well over night I should be able to bring her home tomorrow. |
