Mon 5/19/2008 2:37p | Every time we have requested it we have gotten it but it costs more than a standard view but not as much as a theme park view. We love the view from these rooms and actually prefer it over the theme park view. It seems like most of the time we are over World of Disneyland and a couple of times we have been farther down Downtown Disney. We enjoy watching people head in the park, the action and music from Downtown Disney, and the fireworks. |

Mon 5/19/2008 2:39p | Most of the posts here about those rooms have been very positive. I booked that category on our last trip to GCH, but I was upgraded to a park view instead. That view was great, but I am still really looking forward to trying out the DTD view since I have heard so many good things about it here. I have stayed many times in the DTD view rooms at DLH, and it is my favorite view there. I love hearing the music from DTD and seeing all the people coming and going.
So, hey, I have a good excuse to splurge on the GCH again! Gotta try that DTD view! |

Tue 5/20/2008 12:44p | I LOVE the DTD view rooms. We've stayed in five or six different ones and have always had a fabulous view. I much prefer it over the theme park view.
We love to people watch from our balcony and watch the fireworks at night. |
