As far as I know the trolley is still a major addition to the entrance makeover. |

| lesmisfan Mon 5/26/2008 10:48a | thank goodness for that. The trolleys would add much needed kenectic energy that this park lacks. Thats why i love main st on activity, there is so much activity going on from singing quartet groups to all the vehicles that run down main st. The trolleys would be a welcomed addition to the new Walt Disney Plaza at California Adventure. |

That's what the main disappointment is for me at DLP - there have been many times where the Main St vehicles do not run, and I have not seen a band or Barbershop Quartet in DLP for about 10 years. Lot's of rubberheads however.
To me this is why DL is a better park, there are kinetics everywhere. I think this is why so many Disneylanders are disappointed with WDW and DCA. I think the trolley will do much on this front. I just hope if it does come, it doesn't go the way of the Jolly trolley. |

If the trollies go all the way from the entrance to TOT, that would actually save you some steps, so they'd have an actual REASON to stay. The JT was essentially eye candy only. |

| 2001DLFan Mon 5/26/2008 10:06p | ^^^^ That's probably all the DCA trolly will be, if they get it. The route is fairly short and the walkways will (hopefully) be crowded. The length is probably about the same as the Main Street Trolly. Will the DCA trolly have only stops at each end, or will it pick up and drop off along the way? |

| bean Tue 5/27/2008 8:54p | well the Jolly trolley was taken out of comission when fastpass came into effect at Roger Rabbit.
when fastpass was added the queue was basically left empty and the line was wrapped around the fountain plaza. This was the turn around for jolly trolley.
Eventually when the queue was repurposed to allow standby to use the inside queue excuses were used to keep jolley trolley from going back into operation. The biggest being safety concerns and traffic flow.
The streets/walkways in DCA are much wider and should allow for plenty of room for the red car to operate without interfering to much with crowds. Obviously if the crowds get to heavy then the red car wuld stop operation and resume at later times.
The biggest crowd control would be when the Hyperion is letting out guests by the hundreds

| Cindermomster Thu 5/29/2008 12:20p | Thanks for the good news bean. I really do appreciate your posts. Current news on the remake of DCA is fleeting at best.
We are all anxious to know about how things are coming along.
You do much to alieviate our fears.

Thankfully they will now have two directions that they can go. Hollywood or Carsland. |
