1	murfsmom Wed 5/21/2008 11:21p	Anyone interested in a"murder mystery cruise" on halloween weekend ? it's on the Carnival cruise ship paradise that sails to baja and back. leaving fri. oct31st returning monday a.m. nov 3rd. it's not a LP meet but it's open to any one out there thats interested.999haunts is going( how fitting for halloween weekend ) any one else ??? e mail me,it's in my profile for the information murfsmom
2	JazzCat Fri 5/23/2008 8:35a	Ooh that sounds like fun! I love to cruise, but I'm not sure our finances would allow it. We're saving up for Hawaii and WDW.
3	999HAUNTS Fri 5/23/2008 8:38a	Yep, I'll be there with a costume and everything! MM, I had a question for you. I booked a mini-jeep excursion for that Saturday - is this going to conflict with any of our mystery meets?
4	murfsmom Fri 5/23/2008 9:54a	haunts- nope, the meeting are in the evening on sat night before dinner(which is the dress up dinner or captains dinner, don't know what they call it on this ship) glad you booked an off shore trip through the ship, they(the ship) will tell you don't go through with any of the trips they try and talk you into on your way to town because if something happens like car trouble, the ship won't wait for you and you have to pay(a lot) to get back to the ship or home for that matter !!! one time as we were leaving baja the ship stopped and we all went to the decks to see what was going on and we could see the port off in a distance and saw the mexican police with 5 young people getting into a boat, they brought them to our ship and every one was booing because they were late but they had to pay BIG fines for that !!!
5	murfsmom Fri 5/23/2008 8:36p	JazzCat- if your ever interested in going, go to whodunit productions and it will tell you all about it, and about all the other cruises they do. we've only done the halloween weekend one.( for about 14 yrs) if you ever decide or any one else out there decides they want to go on the halloween cruise, and you book through whodunit tell them you heard about it from stevie and let me know so i can have her sit us together. looking forward to meeting you in july !! murfsmom
6	amazedncal2 Sat 5/24/2008 8:32a	Man, this would be right up our alley. Sounds like fun! We just booked time at DLR with our kids for the week before. I wonder if DH would be willing to extend the vacation another week. I know he'd skip work for a couple of weeks when we win the lottery ;) If not, I'll keep it in mind for 2009.
7	murfsmom Sat 5/24/2008 12:51p	amazedncal2- i don't know how old your kids are or if you were planning on taking them on the cruise, sometimes there are kids in the murder mystery group but they are more like teenagers and even they seem to think some of the stuff is "lame," ( you know how teenagers can be) but it does tend to be more of the adult humor,like said earlier if you go to whodunit productions, it has a lst of sailing, we do halloween weekend, after oct 3 there will be no more royal caribbean cruises for 3 & 4 days, they will do carnivale, anyway theres a place where it says" if you've already booked,click here, it will tell you just about everything you need to know on how it works, if you decide to go and still have questions let me know, they take a 100.00 deposit per person and the balance is due sometime in august. i think they even have the dates for next year !! murfsmom
8	amazedncal2 Sat 5/24/2008 1:57p	Thanks murfsmom :) Our kids are all grown and on their own, ages 21,26,29 and 32. Their better halves have become Disney nuts too and everyone is always ready to meet up with us on a DLR vacation. After those vacations, DH and I almost need a vacation for ourselves so the idea of a cruise sounds fun :) I think I'll throw out the idea this weekend. Doubt it will happen but then there is always that lottery idea :)

10	amazedncal2 Tue 5/27/2008 9:51a	We have a family party planned for July 19th so I haven't considered going for the July meet and it's killing me :( Right now we don't have a DLR trip planned until Oct and that is killing me too.
