Yesterday I thought somebody posted "live' photos of the voyage thru the Panama Canal but I can not find them on LP today? Anyway is anybody planning to watch the big ship arrive this weekend? I am trying to find out if it arrives Sat or Sunday. The ship usually has an immediate departure once the passengers debark and the next cruise leaves on Sunday May 25th. The last time Disney Magic left San Pedro for the voyage back I was onboard and people were lined all along the harbor to wave goodbye. It was very exciting. Mickey and Minnie were waving to all of the happy children and adults....Also last year I remember a photo in the newsapaper of the arrival so I am thinking it will be celebrated again this year. So I hope somebody knows the approximate arrival time and day. Thanks

Sunday Port of Los Angeles 8:15 a.m.

It looks like she will be arriving at the Port of Los Angeles at 8:15am on Sunday, May 25.

They'll then get her ready for the first Mexican Riviera trip leaving that same afternoon.

They turn these ships around very quickly. They don't make money sitting around in port with no guests aboard.

Thank you for the helpful info! I will alert my family. I remember there are restaurants in the San Pedro Harbor and some shops and a trolley...

The boat position can be tracked on www.sailwx.info and the callsign is C6PT7. According to the map the Disney Magic is currently at Encenada N31 degrees latitude and 117degrees longitude.I wish I could be there to see it arrive.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
