Topic: In rememberance of Maria Sue Chapman

1	JazzCat Thu 5/22/2008 3:27p	Even if you don't listen to Christian radio, you may have heard of one of my favorite singers, Steven Curtis Chapman - the recipient of 49 Dove Awards (the Christian alternative to the Grammy). His 5-year-old daughter, Maria Sue, died after her 15-year-old brother hit her with a car. It was a complete accident as he did not see her as he was backing up. My prayers go out to the family in this tragic time.
2	lilgoofymom Thu 5/22/2008 6:30p	This broke my heart when I heard about it. What a horrible tragedy for this family. I feel so sorry for all of them, but especially the boy driving. My prayers are going up for them at this awful time in their lives.
3	Tinkerbell819 Fri 5/23/2008 1:46p	Oh, how awful! I can't imagine going through something so tragic. I didn't know who Maria Sue Chapman was, I clicked out of curiosity. A couple of years ago, when we were visiting DL in Dec, my DS and I went to the Crystal Cathedral one Sun. am. Steven Curtis Chapman was there and performed a few songs. So, I "know" him from there. I will pray his family can get through this horrible tragedy.
4	alphabetmom Fri 5/23/2008 7:26p	Yes, I have prayed for the family too. What tremendous pressure they are under in their time of grief. The whole world will be watching them. I can't imagine what they are going thru.
5	SoThisIsLove Fri 5/23/2008 8:06p	I've been on the 9-1-1 operator end of a call similar to this. It is the closest thing to utter hell I have ever witnessed. What a heartbreaking event for the family. That poor young man...
