Topic: Upgrading Room At DGCH

1	ttfn2u2 Fri 5/23/2008 12:38p	We will be staying at GCH from Nov 16-20. Is there a good chance we could get a room upgrade during that time? Last time I was there I asked for a Daybed room and we were upgrade to the Concierge level. It was nice but I didn't know until we got home all of the advantages that level offered so we didn't partake in any of them. Bummer. This time, I would love to have a room with DTD view for my DD (who will be 3 at the time, almost 4). Anyone have any tips to offer on how to ask for this or secrets of the trade on getting a room with that view? Thanks!!

3	SuzieQ Fri 5/23/2008 2:00p	If you are looking for a free upgrade, the only tips I have are to arrive early in the day to make the request before all rooms are assigned/taken, and to be exceedingly polite. Good luck! I love the DTD view!
4	grumpster Sat 5/24/2008 2:06p	^^^ I second what SuzieQ says. I have had luck getting upgrades at all 3 hotels when I've checked in before 10am, hit or miss after 12pm, no luck ever after 3pm.
