I am planning my first trip to Disney World next year. Of the four value resorts (Pop Century and the All Stars) which is best?

I like All Star movies. Also like All Star music suites!

I've stayed at the All Star Movies, and quite liked it. This year, because we're going at a slightly busier time, we're staying at the Pop Century because it has it's own bus, it doesn't stop at any other hotels. I will most likely post a trip report when we get back.

Thanks for the advise. I still have awhile to decide but right now I'm leaning toward Pop Century. Having it's own bus sounds like a real plus.

If I were to go to a value it would be Pop, because it is the newest. Opened late 2003. And you do not have to share your bus. With the alstars you will share the bus.

Seemed to me, All Stars runs more busses than the other hotels do. Has this changed?

My perception is that Disney themed the Pop much better than the All Stars. Much better landscaping, nicer room decor. The Pop feels much more like a moderate to me than the other values.

My vote goes to Pop. They have a great food court, their own bus system, and are more centrally located on property so shorter bus ride times.

Never been to POP, but I do love the theming of all star movies
