Topic: Animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge??

1	RoadTrip Sun 5/25/2008 7:13p	My daughter and her fiance were going to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge after they get married in January. She read somewhere that there are no animals at the AKL right now because Disney wants to keep them sheltered from all the construction noise and hubbub. Do you know if this is true? Thanks for any info you can provide. I want my little girl to have a happy honeymoon!
2	YensidWED101 Sun 5/25/2008 8:39p	Tell her congrats for me. that is so sweet...! WDW is definetly a true good honeymoon place, so she will be happy there, but that does sound true that they would do that to the animals. Hopefully they would be back roaming around soon, at least by Jan.

4	wam0418 Mon 5/26/2008 8:32a	I just came back yesterday from the AKL and the Animals are out! That is not true that they are put away. A Matter of fact ..I saw an Orstrich near the construction area. I thought it was wierd but it was there. On another note: The new building are going up pretty fast. PS Congrats

7	deephil Fri 5/30/2008 2:27p	Disney vacation web page is reporting that the development of Kidani Village (DVC resort at AKV) that the animals are not due to be on Sunset Savanna from 15 January 2009 through to 15 April 2009. Members and guests who reserve a savanna room view in this time will be informed of this. Animals from the other savannas will still be available to be viewed from multiple public locations. We had our honeymoon at AKL and can highly recommend it, we are returning this September for our 5th anniversary to AKV. Congratulations to the happy couple.
