Disney Channel means nothing to me anymore, but it's hard to criticize a network that's become such a successful juggernaut.

Obviously they're doing a great job of giving kids exactly what they want, and that's no small accomplishment.

I, personally, love the Disney Channel. I know I can have it on my TV for the girls all day, and I don't have to worry about what they're watching.

That being said, we're moving next month, and our cable company at the new house doesn't carry the Disney Channel...but we'll still get Disney Channel Saturday Morning on ABC. And, I'm sure they'll be watching a LOT of videos (remember those??) and DVDs.

Yea I know what you mean. I've been watching Disney Channel for a number of years now, I may be an adult but I'd rather watch cartoons then some of the terrible shows they have on TV these days and I have seen a decline in good shows. Back in the early 2000's they had a lot of good shows like Recess, Teacher's Pet, and a lot of other animated shows. Nowadays it's all about teen pop stars and HSM...they still have some animated shows on, but its slower starting to disappear and are pretty much shown at 1 in the morning now. Well at least I'll have Phineas and Ferb to watch this summer while I'm stuck at home due to gas prices.

I'm not the audience for the Disney Channel haven't been for years. If I want to watch some classic Disney, I pull out the Treasures dvd sets and watch those.
