I was reading an article where a reporter visited the four WDW theme parks in one day. He along with his family visited at three attractions in each theme park.

Since I live close to the parks I want to try doing this but I don't want to visit just any attractions. I'd like your help in selecting three key attractions for each park and one evening show for the whole resort.

Please suggest three or four key attractions that you believe best define each theme park.

From the suggestions I'll drag Doobie along for a four parks - one day adventure. It'd be fun to create that type of challenge.

Thanks for any help.

Rebekah.

MK: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan (I could never go to the MK without riding Peter Pan). Those are all on one side of the park and usually don't have really bad lines.

Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Nemo and Soarin'. All are in the same general area of the park, only long line is Soarin' and it is worth it.

DHS: Great Movie Ride, Little Mermaid and Tower of Terror. Once again all are in the same general area of the park. Only long line is ToT, and it usually isn't nearly as bad as Rockin' Roller Coaster.

AK: Trying to keep things in the same general area of the park, I would choose Dinosaur, Nemo Show and Expedition Everest.

Have fun and good luck!!

I would go in the following order subject to opening times:

DAK: Kilamenjaro Safari, Expedition Everest, It's Tough to be a Bug

DHS: ToT, GMR, Star Tours or LMA

MK: HM, CoP, and although not as great as others PotC or Jungle Cruise

Epcot: take the Monorail to Epcot and do SSE, Soarin' and the American Adventure followed by Illuninations. Sounds like fun and I look forward to hearing more.

Hey RoadTrip. I appreciate you trying to keep the trip less complicated by not choosing things within a select area within the theme park.

But here's where I'm trying to make it more challenging... to me DAK's signature attraction is the Safari so while it would be easier to do Dinosaur, Nemo and Everest I'm looking to discover if it is possible to visit three --defining-- attractions at each park in a single day.

So I'll rephrase the question... what do you think are three defining attractions at each theme park?

Interesting options, davewasbaloo.

I'll be sure to post the experience once we've gathered some suggestions.

OK... going for signature attractions here is my list.

MK: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan and Space Mountain. I know many people would question leaving out the other two mountains, but for me those are the attractions that let me know I'm in the Magic Kingdom.

DHS: Great Movie Ride, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Tower of Terror and One Man's Dream. How could you go to DISNEY Hollywood Studios without giving a nod to the man who started it all?

Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Soarin', Test Track (or Mission Space if you can handle it) and Impressions de France. The Showcase is such a huge part of Epcot for me that I had to list one of it's attractions as a signature attraction.

Animal Kingdom: Festival of the Lion King, Tough to be a Bug, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest.

For evening show there is no doubt in my mind -- Illumination is the granddaddy of them all!!

Ok, IMHO

MK - Pirates, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain

EPCOT - Spaceship Earth, Soarin, Test Track

DHS - ToT, GMR (sorry, I only have 2 greats here. If need be I guess I'd add RRC)

DAK - Safari, EE, Dinosaur

Sounds like a fun adventure. When I retire and move to Florida, I may try it!! :)

Signature attractions, eh?

For me, it's the following, I think:

MK: Hall of Presidents, Splash Mountain, and Jungle Cruise

Epcot: Soarin', SSE, and Nemo

AK: Safari, single rider for Everest, and the Maharajah Jungle Trek or Pangani Forest Exploration Trail

DHS: ToT, GMR, and Muppetvision

:)

This would be my suggestion:

Ak: Safari, Pangani Falls and Everest. If Pangani doesn't count as an attraction substitute It's tough to be a bug.

DHS: Tower of Terror, Great movie ride and Star Tours.

MK: Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder and Pirates.

Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, American Adventure

End the evening at Epcot with illuminations.

Signature attractions (not necessarily favorites)

AK: Safari, Everest and Festival of the Lion King (skip Nemo!)

DHS: GMR, Indy and One Man's Dream

EPCOT: SSE, The Land and Living Seas

MK: Dumbo, Thunder Mountain and Hall of Presidents
All times are Pacific Time (US)
