14	oc_dean Fri 6/6/2008 3:43p	It did entail Merry-go-round horses. I am thinking ... 30 years later now LOL and ALL THESE ADA requirements! Yikes! And while the concept is solid ... perhaps a twist on the ride system would be needed. For handicap accessibility and ridership capacity.

17	oc_dean Fri 6/6/2008 3:51p	Like most merry go rounds ... there's those bench sections spread out in a merry-go-round floor. I do wonder .. since this ride was first envisioned in the 1970s ... if any imagineer .. particularly Tony Baxter have looked at some practical ride system. 30 years have past ... It's one of Disney's best "Never Built" ride ideas .... and I know Disney loves this line - Mary Poppins will be as RELEVANT for future generations .. as it is today in 2008 .... as it was in 1964 with the movie premiere .... and 1934 when the book premiered. I'm dreaming of a 2014 "MARY POPPINS 50TH ANNIVERSARY" Blu-Ray re-release ... with Julie Andrews christianing the new ride to coincide with the 50th anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you listening imagineering! Are you guys going to pass up this ENORMOUSE OPPORTUNITY?!!!!!!!!!

I know! I know where you guys are going with this... and you're right! But I think with Little Mermaid .. and other Pixar ideas out there .... I think it's safe to say ... anything that's supposed to stick to the "California" theming .. has gone out the door - Hence .. the possible name change of the park .. in the not too distant future.
