In case anybody's interested, I've been informed that the publisher (PublicAffairs, an imprint of the Perseus Book Group) has advanced the book's release date by a week, thanks to all the publicity. It should start hitting bookstore shelves today.

<Tony Snow was a great liar - he looked really comfortable (even smug) doing so.>

Tony Snow is a good, honest man. That he was too smart to fall into the traps that some liberal reporters kept trying to lay for him really irked them. McClellan is not as bright.

This isn't first time we've gotten a tell all book from a former White House staffer. Clinton, Bush I and Reagan had "tell all" books written about them Who's ever our next president McCain or Obama, I'd like one member of their staff to actually have the stones to write one of these books while working for the president. All of them always talk about how ashamed they are but they don't seem to have a problem taking a paycheck.

Who woulda thought Scott McC had cajones that big. I would have never guessed he was this adventurous. I would rather climb El Capitain ropeless, than roll over on these guys. I wonder if he has a food taster.

"McClellan is not as bright."

Sure, gotta denigrate somehow, but he's not lying in his book, is he?

>>Tony Snow is a good, honest man<<

If by "honest" you mean "spews blatant propaganda", then yes, Tony Snow is as "honest" as the day is long.

No matter how or what you feel about President Bush and/or his administration... The Bigger Question in my mind is what does this say about Scott McClellan and his "service to his country"? How altruistic are his motives for writing this book? Did he really need the money for a "Tell-All" book? Interesting Timing, don't U Tink?

If I were Mcclellan, I would decline the Vice President's offer of a hunting trip for the forseeable future.

How is it interesting timing? Bush isn't seeking reelection. McCain isn't part of the Bush Administration. So how is this interesting timing?

Besides never, when would be a good time?

Yet again someone else who apparently can't deny what the guy is saying, so they make remarks about the guy instead.
