What makes it a dark ride is that it uses the Ultra Violet Blak Lights to light the scenery. So that means that even rides like Nemo's undersea adventure and Nemo subs, are both dark rides as they use black lights, as is Buzz Lightyear and DCA's monsters inc ride, I also think TSMM will be too. Just thought I would let you know lol. Thanks. love the podcast. -Hista98 |

I'm sure there is some history behind it (probably even pre-dating Disneyland I would imagine...like the carny "Dark Rides" of old). |

And there does have to be a bar down the middle. And the point of the ride is to look at either 2-D or 3-D sets. That includes all the Fantasyland rides and excludes stuff like Toy Story Mania, Pirates and Haunted Mansion.
And I know I'm right and I know all my fellow LPPers would agree with me.

| christiemarsh88 Fri 5/30/2008 9:33a | Oh, and, also according to Wikipedia:
"Historically notable dark rides include...Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland." |
