So my mom is turning the big 50 on June 9th and my whole family will be in Disneyland to celebrate. We are already doing the b-day party on Main Street an eating at the Blue Bayou for lunch. But I want to make it really special for her. We are AP holders but only make it down about twice a year. What can I do?

Get her a birthday sticker so everyone says hi! If you're mom is a silly kind of person you can even get her a birthday hat at the Madd Hatters and other places. (It's big and tall like the Cat in the Hat's Hat, looks like cake with candles on the top). If she's up for a little public attention, but not up for the silly hat you can get her a tiarra (and a boa!) and a "Queen" or "Princess" sort of tee-shirt.

I know if you wanted to do something special for me you could always get me something a Jewel of Orleans, :).

They custom make watches on Main Street, maybe you could get Happy Birthday added to one, though that wouldn't be cheap.

I also read somewhere that if you tell the band in New Orlean's Square about her birthday they will do something embarrassing and public :) They have the birthday buckets for sale at most of the sit down places in DL.

Not sure how long it takes to get it but you could order her a shirt from Disneyshopping.com that has her name, age, and that it's her b-day with characters - you could all get matching shirts --

At the party stores they have birthday head bands with candles and such,

Get a button at city hall on main street!

Or go into the caboose on the dland RR.. just general. I think its pulled by the fred gurley or ward kimball. it has cushion seats but no A/C.

If you see The Madd Hatter and Alice, Tell them it's your Bday and you will get a humourous joke out of it. :) have a great time.. And wish her a happy bday for me
