If so, you'll definitely want to check this out. If not then...what's wrong with you?

A great DVD producer named Paul Prischman, who worked on the Alien Quadrilogy and the Blade Runner DVDs (one the best DVD's in the history of the format, BTW), has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. In order to help him out, several of his friends have put together some benefits. One is a screening of Blade Runner in L.A. with Ridley Scott. Tickets are now gone and they were only $50 each - a real bargain to have that kind of interaction with a great director. There is a waitlist if you're interested.

But the coolest part is an eBay auction where you and 9 other people could tour the Blade Runner sets on the Warner backlot with Ridley Scott himself. My head practically exploded from geek overload just thinking about it. So if you live in Southern California, it's a great cause and a great opportunity! Details are available at:

This does sound awfully cool. I have been to some of the Blade Runner locations in downtown LA. I didn't realize there were still sets on The Warner lot. I have toured it a couple of times. I will pay closer attention next time...

Im a Harrison Ford fan and a huge Aliens fan. I do like Blade Runner as well as Ridley Scott. I wish I could win that auction if only to bask in the presence of Scott.
