Topic: Something new on LP - Video browsing

1	Doobie Sat 5/31/2008 5:50a	We're almost ready to add a new feature to LP but in the mean time I thought I'd let the board readers know about it. It's still a bit away from a real launch. We've always had videos on LP but never a way to just browse all of the videos we've had available. Well now we do. We're still in the process of converting old videos and making them all available but what's been done so far is now available - more than 300 in all. Once all the old ones are done there should be somewhere around 1,000. In addition, videos can now be downloaded by clicking on the little down arrow in the video player. That'll save it out in Flash's FLV format. You can then use any FLV player to play it offline (there are several free ones out there. I use "FLV Player" and "Wimpy FLV Player") And lastly, LP videos can now be embeded on your own website, blog, MySpace page or whatever. The code to copy and paste is shown in this new section and will eventually be shown wherever videos can be played on LP). There's still work to be done with layout, video searching, video titles, etc, so this is definitely just a preview. 4	DJ7K Wed 7/9/2008 9:58p	Doobie, I remember a video my friend showed me years ago, I think it might have been from here, it was a video of the Coke Launch in Tomorrowland (which I think is gone now), where you could buy a bottle of Coke and watch it shoot up into the air or something? Anywho, I was just asking about the Coke video wondering if this was the place and if you guys still have it by chance? I'm sure I might be able to find it on YouTube or PhotoBucket though. Sorry I know this is off topic, but did you guys also used to have sound clips of some of the attractions and shows like Fantasmic? My friend put some on a disk for me a long time ago, but I was wondering if they were from LP, if by chance they were still on the site. I'm guessing no :)
5	Doobie Thu 7/10/2008 4:39a	We don't have a video of the Coke launch days, but was before our website time unfortunately. And we've never had sound clips on our site. Someone could take the sound off of a video, but we've never put up just sound. Doobie.
