| Tiggirl Tue 6/3/2008 11:07a | We're planning a trip to WDW in September. And this is our first time going as vegetarians. And part of me REALLY wants to just eat whatever I want when I'm at WDW and the other part of me says I should stick to my guns and eat meat free. LOL!
So I want to know what the good vegetarian meals are and where to get them. One of my favorite parts of going to WDW is all the fun dinning experiences and I don't want to miss out on that. We eat eggs and dairy but no meat or fish. I've looked at the menus on Allearsnet.com but I want to hear from people who've tasted the dishes.
Are they any vegetarians out there who can tell me where and what they really enjoy eating when visiting Disney World?
Thanks!

| DVC_dad Tue 6/3/2008 8:02p | Eventhough I am FAR from a vegetarian, the veggie wrap thing I did eat at Electric Umbrella (Epcot) was really great. Later that night I ate Bangers and Mash at the Rose N Crown...you know, to keep myself in balance. |

I'm sure WDW got u in there one the menu, its none to worry bout.
If any of you need me to explain bout vegetarianism, then open a topic for me and i will happily explain this logically backed up life- style |

YensidWED101, I'm vegetarian for the reasons listed though health is probably last on the list for me (though still a factor).
X, I refused to eat those disgusting "turkey" legs when I was eating meat! LOL
DVC, thanks for the Electric Umbrella Tip. I haven't eaten there yet.

Why not open a topic yourself?
Personally I find vegetarianism to be a good idea, but not for the reasons Peta does.
It's a logical and healthy choice, one that I personally will NEVER make cause animals are delicious. ;) |

| DVC_dad Wed 6/4/2008 6:30a | I find it interesting how those who beat the bush about animal rights are often equally unconcerned of human rights and furthermore uninterested in simply being kind to those humans around them. Of course I am not speaking about anyone who has posted in THIS thread.
*rolls eyes* |

| Tiggirl Wed 6/4/2008 9:05a | Just to be clear, I do not want to "convert" anyone to vegetarianism. Nor do I want this thread to be about the good, bad and the ugly about meat eating vs. eating soy. (Though X, I do agree... I find meat very tasty!)
This is in Disney Dining and NOT World Events. LOL! I just want to know where to find some mouthwatering, DELICIOUS food, that fit my current eating habits while I'm at WDW. :o)
